Dr. Darshini Kumar holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, complemented by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Malaya, as well as formal training in Medical Law. With over 20 years of experience in clinical practice and healthcare leadership, including extensive tenure in top management roles, she has established herself as a respected leader across diverse healthcare organisations.

Throughout her career, Dr. Darshini has played a pivotal role in elevating standards of excellence within the healthcare sector. Her leadership spans both greenfield and brownfield hospital projects, large-scale clinic expansions across Malaysia, and the transformation of operational and clinical performance through strategic planning, utilization management, and governance stewardship.

Her core expertise lies in facility planning, hospital commissioning, and quality management systems. She has successfully led organisations to achieve and sustain multiple international and national accreditations, including MSQH, ACHS, JCI, AACI, and ISO. In addition to her executive leadership, Dr. Darshini serves as an accreditation surveyor and trainer, bringing a practical, systems-based approach to guiding healthcare institutions toward continuous quality improvement.
